Bamboo - for you and the planet

For the PLANET

Bamboo is the fastest growing woody plant in the world with some species of bamboo shoot up as much as 91cm in a day! After harvesting bamboo the new stems grow and are able to be harvested again and again, meaning that the roots remain in the soil, helping to prevent soil erosion. To make things even better- bamboo plantations produce 30% more oxygen than an equivalent area of trees and absorb more carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases.

Our bamboo is OEKOTEX STANDARD 100 meaning it is organic (No pesticides, no insecticides, no fertilisers) and grown without artificial irrigation and no soil erosion.
